Dr. Debra Hoffman is excited to offer the FDA-approved Kybella treatment at her Long Island office.
Her patient's are seeing a dramatic decrease in the size of their double chin with Kybella.
Kybella is a novel non-invasive treatment for people with a double chin.
In the past, only plastic surgery or liposuction were effective options for reducing fat under the chin.
Now this fat can be dramatically reduced and the chin contoured by a series of small injections!
What is Long Island Kybella?
Submental fullness (double chin) affects millions of people.
In a survey conducted by the American Society for Dermatalogic Surgery,
68% of people, both men and women, say they are bothered by it.
Causes may include aging, genetics and weight.
No amount of diet or exercise can remove it.
Kybella is the first and only FDA approved non-surgical treatment that
will improve the appearance of the double chin.
Kybella has been in development for 9 years and evaluated in more than
20 clinical studies that included over 2,600 patients.
The active ingredient in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat in the body.
When injected under the chin, Kybella destroys the fat cells. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer accumulate fat.
Why Kybella Long Island?
Kybella is quickly becoming a procedure in high demand due the excellent results and safety profile. The procedure is done during an office visit. You are likely to have swelling, so keep your social plans in mind when scheduling your appointment. Results will be noticeable after the first treatment, but optimal results occur with 2-4 treatments spaced 1 month apart. Once aesthetic effect is achieved, further treatment is not expected. The side effects that have been noted are swelling, redness, numbness, bruising, and mild pain.
